Laguna Tools has developed the SmartJet line of waterjet machines. They are powered by the KMT NEO 50-HP, 60,000-PSI pump and coupled with a FlashCut CNC and 5- by 10-ft. or 6- by 13-ft. table sizes.

The system cuts metals, composites, and other materials from 0.0005 to 12 in. thick with the ability to create holes as small as 0.030 in. dia. According to the manufacturer, this technology ensures a clean process without tool clogging, wear, melting, or hazardous fumes.
